Supporting Children & Young People Through Life’s Transitions

The move from primary to high school, stepping into GCSE years, or preparing for sixth form can feel overwhelming for many young people. These transitions often bring new pressures, unfamiliar environments, and emotional challenges. I offer a safe, confidential space where children and teenagers can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace.

I can support with:

  • Anxiety and worry about change
  • School transitions and new environments
  • Bullying and friendship difficulties
  • Low mood and depression
  • Stress linked to school or exams
  • Family changes, including separation or divorce
  • Conflict within the home

My approach is warm, understanding, and tailored to each young person’s individual needs, helping them build confidence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.

Frequently asked questions

Looking for support? As a fully qualified counsellor for both children and adults, I’m here to help. Please feel free to reach out to discuss how we can work together.

I can provide parents sessions also to help you navigate any difficulties you may be having.

Based in Hull city centre, I offer in-person counselling sessions from my dedicated therapy rooms. If you prefer to meet at an alternative location, please contact me to discuss how we can make that work for you.

While the convenience of video counseling is a great option and can be arranged, I find that in-person sessions often lead to the most impactful and meaningful results. Meeting face-to-face allows for a deeper connection, as we can fully engage with non-verbal cues and subtle expressions that can be lost on a screen.

If you are interested in online sessions, please let me know and I will arrange this for you after you book your initial session. A secure link will be sent to you in advance.

This is a key question for many parents. You can speak to signs like persistent sadness, anxiety, changes in behavior, or difficulties at school or with friends.

Its really easy, if you go to my booking platform you can find the best slot for you, it shows my live availability. It is always best to secure your appointment and you can pay online with ease.

If you have any problems just get in touch with me.
